Complete, delete, and restore work

Distinguish completion from deletion and recover supported resources from Trash.

Completion and deletion mean different things in Avara.

Complete a task

Toggle the task's completion control. Completion is independent of its board column, so the card stays where you placed it. Toggle it again to reopen the task.

Delete a resource

Deleting a task, note, sketch, or sheet moves it to Trash. Trashed resources are excluded from normal lists, search, shares, and public links.

Restore from Trash

  1. Open Trash from the sidebar.
  2. Find the resource and review its remaining retention time.
  3. Select Restore.

Tasks and notes return to their project. Sketches and sheets return even if a previously associated project was deleted, but the project association is removed. Resources are permanently purged 30 days after deletion. Delete permanently and Empty trash cannot be undone.
