Home and Overview

Use the Home get-started checklist and the Overview dashboard to find your way around.

avara gives you two landing pages to orient yourself: Home (where you set things up) and Overview (where you see what's going on).

Home — get started

When you sign in you land on Home. It has a setup checklist that ticks itself off as you actually do things:

  1. Create your first project
  2. Add your first task
  3. Write your first note
  4. Customize your theme
  5. Invite a teammate

Each step has a button that takes you straight to it. The checklist tracks real progress — there's nothing to check off manually. Once you've done everything, it collapses into a tidy "You're all set" note, and you can dismiss it any time.

Below the checklist, the Go further cards point you to the board, the notes editor, and appearance settings.

Overview — your dashboard

Overview is a read-only snapshot of your workspace:

  • Stat cards — how many projects, tasks, notes, and pending invites you have.
  • Recent activity — your most recently updated projects, tasks, and notes, with links.
  • Due soon — tasks with upcoming or overdue due dates.
  • Usage — small trend charts for tasks created and completed, with a 24h / 7d / 30d range toggle.

Use Home to set things up, and Overview to keep an eye on your work.
