Collaboration
Share work safely
Create public view-only links or grant direct read-only access to a person.
Avara supports read-only sharing for boards, notes, sketches, sheets, and tasks.
Public link
Open a supported resource, choose Share, and enable a public link. The unguessable token is the credential. Avara stores only its hash. Anyone with the link can view the minimal public projection until the link is disabled.
Direct share
Add a person's email in the Share dialog. Direct access is tied to an existing Avara account and opens through an authenticated read-only route. It does not add the person as a workspace member.
What viewers receive
Shared views exclude editing controls and internal identifiers. Public task shares exclude comments, activity, creator details, and board-column identity. Trashing or deleting a resource makes its share unavailable.
Sharing is view-only in the current product. Link reset, guest editing, and a consolidated “Shared with me” page are not available.
