Inviting teammates
Invite people to your workspace and understand what happens next.
avara is personal-first, but it's built to grow with your team. You can invite teammates to your workspace today, and full collaboration is on the way.
Sending invites
There are two easy places to invite people:
- During onboarding — the welcome wizard has an "Invite your teammates" step with a row per email.
- From Home — the "Invite a teammate" checklist step opens a quick invite dialog.
In either place, add one email per row, use Add another for more (up to five at a time), and send. avara validates the addresses and saves them as pending invites.
What happens next
Right now, invites are stored as pending so your workspace remembers who you want to add. A couple of things to know:
- Accepting invites — the flow that turns a pending invite into a full teammate (an accept-and-join link) is part of an upcoming Collaboration release.
- Emails — invite emails aren't being sent automatically yet. Until then, you can let teammates know directly.
Roles
Invites default to the member role. Owner and admin roles exist in the data model and richer permissions will arrive with the Collaboration release.
