Task views — list, board, table, calendar
Switch between four ways of looking at your tasks and when to use each.
avara gives you four ways to look at the same tasks. Switch between them with the view switcher at the top of the Tasks page. Your choice is remembered.
List
A simple, scannable list grouped by column. Each row shows the task's project, priority, column, and due date. Great for a quick read-through. List works across all projects or filtered to one.
Board
A drag-and-drop Kanban board with your custom columns. Best for moving work through stages. The board is per-project — see Using the board and custom columns.
Table
A spreadsheet-style grid where you can edit inline — click a cell to change a task's title, column, priority, or due date. Sortable and filterable. Good for bulk edits and dense overviews.
Calendar
A month grid that places tasks on their due date. Tasks without a due date sit in a tray below so nothing is lost. Best for seeing what's coming up. Change a task's due date on its page and the calendar updates.
Choosing a view
- Planning stages of work? Board.
- Editing lots of fields quickly? Table.
- Deadline-focused? Calendar.
- Just reading? List.
All four read the same underlying tasks — switching views never changes your data.
