Subscribe to an external calendar

Inbound calendar subscriptions bring events from an external .ics feed into Avara as read-only context.

Add a subscription

1. Open Settings → Calendar sync.
2. Add the private HTTPS iCalendar URL provided by the external calendar service.
3. Name the subscription and choose its display color.
4. Save and refresh it.

Imported events appear in Calendar. Avara refreshes enabled subscriptions on a schedule and surfaces refresh failures for review.

Security and limitations

Calendar URLs are treated as credentials and are fetched with protections against private-network and unsafe targets. Imported events are read-only. Editing or moving them in Avara does not update the source calendar. Avara currently supports subscription feeds, not provider-specific two-way calendar sync.
